Description: Let’s take a ride up to one of the most beautiful and intriguing places on earth; the land of the Redwoods. Redwoods, along with their cousins, the Sequoias are some of the oldest and definitely the largest trees on earth. Riding through them on the Redwood Highway is an experience like no other.
But wait, that is not all, we will ride through some amazing mountain canyons carving alongside various rivers, see Pelican Bay, the most northwest Pacific bay of California, enjoy the never-ending roller coaster ride of US Hwy 101, and to top it all off, breeze down the entire coastal route of CA Hwy numero uno! And there is more, we will cross the Golden Gate Bridge on the trip up and back down while looking at Alcatraz in the near distance.
This trip will have lots of beauty to see and take in as we ride roughly 2,000 miles up and down over the four days. You can expect to ride roughly 10 hours each day and cover about 500-600 miles per day. We will aim to get early starts each day (7am or 8am) and plan to take a lunch break and fuel stops along the way. Your bike needs to be in tip-top shape (recent servicing, good fluids, brakes, tires, etc) and you need to be ready to have a great riding adventure.
